The Craft Bakery ordering platform is principally intended for cafés, shops, restaurants, hotels, hospitality businesses and other professional or commercial customers. Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, orders are treated as business-to-business transactions.
you are at least 18 years old;
the information you provide is accurate;
you have authority to act for the relevant business;
products are ordered primarily for business or commercial purposes;
you will comply with applicable food storage, handling, display and resale requirements.
You must provide complete and accurate registration information, keep your account information up to date, protect your login credentials, prevent unauthorised use and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
We may suspend or close an account where inaccurate information is provided, the account is used unlawfully, payments remain overdue, the customer repeatedly breaches these terms, or suspension is necessary to protect the website or other users.
handmade products may vary slightly in appearance, size, decoration or finish;
colours may appear differently depending on the device or display;
product availability, recipes, decoration and packaging may change;
photographs may be illustrative;
stated weights may be subject to reasonable production tolerances;
ingredients and suppliers may change where appropriate alternatives are required.
Food products may contain or come into contact with allergens, including cereals containing gluten, milk, eggs, nuts, peanuts, soya, sesame, sulphites or other regulated allergens.
Customers must review current product, ingredient and allergen information before placing an order and before supplying or reselling products to their own customers.
Unless expressly confirmed in writing, products are not guaranteed to be free from traces of allergens and are not produced in a certified allergen-free environment.
Before submitting an order, you are responsible for checking product selection, quantity, delivery or collection information, contact details, requested date or time, billing information, special instructions and allergen or dietary requests.
Submitting an order constitutes an offer to purchase. An automated acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted.
A binding contract is formed only when we expressly confirm acceptance, issue a final order confirmation, begin production with your knowledge, or otherwise communicate that the order has been accepted.
We may refuse or cancel an order before acceptance where a product is unavailable, the requested quantity cannot be produced, delivery is unavailable, pricing contains an obvious error, payment fails, safety or fraud concerns arise, overdue amounts exist, or exceptional circumstances prevent fulfilment.
Prices are shown in the currency indicated during ordering. They may exclude or include applicable taxes as stated at checkout, vary according to quantity or delivery area, change before acceptance, or differ from prices under a separate wholesale agreement.
Available payment methods will be displayed at checkout or agreed separately. Payment may be required when the order is placed, before production, before delivery, on collection, or within an agreed invoice period.
Where a business invoice remains overdue, we may suspend further orders, cancel unfulfilled orders, withdraw credit terms, charge statutory interest and permitted recovery costs, or pursue the outstanding amount.
All products are subject to availability. We may occasionally replace a non-essential decorative component, change packaging, use an equivalent ingredient or brand, adjust presentation, or offer an alternative product.
We will not make a substitution that materially changes the product or introduces a materially different allergen without appropriate confirmation.
A request to change or cancel an order must be submitted as soon as possible. Once production has begun, we may be unable to cancel the order or provide a full refund.
For business customers, cancellation charges may include reasonable costs already incurred, committed production capacity and products that cannot reasonably be resold.
Delivery availability, charges and estimated times may depend on the delivery address, order quantity, route, product type and refrigeration requirements.
The customer must ensure that the delivery address is accurate, appropriate access is available, an authorised person is present, chilled products can be transferred promptly into suitable refrigeration, and delivery instructions are safe and accurate.
Where collection is offered, the customer must collect the order from the confirmed location within the agreed collection window using suitable transport and temperature controls where necessary.
You should inspect products promptly when delivered or collected. Any visible shortage, damage, incorrect item or quality concern should be reported as soon as reasonably possible, preferably on the day of delivery.
The report should include the customer name, order number, affected product, quantity, description of the issue, clear photographs where appropriate, storage conditions, and the date and time the issue was identified.
Where we confirm that products were materially different from the accepted order, damaged before risk passed, missing, unsafe due to our act or omission, or otherwise not supplied with reasonable care and skill, we may replace the products, issue a credit note, refund the affected amount or provide another reasonable remedy.
Unless required by law, refunds are not normally available for a change of mind, unsold stock, products ordered in error, minor handmade variation, deterioration caused by improper storage, or custom and perishable products where no fault exists.
The customer must comply with all storage, handling and use instructions supplied with the products, including refrigeration, coverage, sunlight and heat protection, use-by or best-before information, cross-contamination prevention and stock rotation.
Where products are supplied for resale, the business customer is responsible for complying with laws applicable to its own operations, including food safety, hygiene, temperature control, allergen communication, product display, local registration or licensing, pricing, consumer information, traceability, staff training, taxation and waste management.
We aim to keep the website available and accurate, but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may temporarily restrict or suspend access for maintenance, security updates, technical problems, service-provider outages, legal reasons or changes to website functionality.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where exclusion or limitation would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
For business customers, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, anticipated savings, business opportunity, goodwill or reputation. Our aggregate liability arising from an affected order will normally be limited to the amount paid or payable for that order.

For business-to-business transactions, the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction unless the parties agree otherwise in writing.
